Feed-in & Grid Connection

Your guide to connecting to the grid: feeding electricity into the grid made easy

From the initial idea right through to the finished system, we’ll support you with all queries relating to grid connection and feed-in. Here you’ll find a concise summary of what matters when connecting to the electricity grid and feeding in renewable energy – explained clearly and presented in a practical way.

The path to grid connection

Going live in four stages

Connecting to the grid is not a single step, but a process: from finding a suitable location, through obtaining planning permission and connecting the cables, to feeding electricity into the grid. We keep track of every stage and ensure they all run smoothly. The grid operator determines the grid connection point – generally the most favourable one, which is usually the nearest connection point. The earlier we are involved, the more predictable your schedule will be.
