There is a suitable grid connection solution for every project. Which option makes the most sense, both technically and economically, depends on the existing grid infrastructure, the geographical location and the grid operator’s specifications. We are experts in all standard grid connection options:

Low-voltage connection

Connection on the low-voltage side of an existing substation, without a 110 kV connection.

A branch from an existing pipe

A branch (spur) from an existing overhead line, via an auxiliary or harp-type pole, depending on the project.

110 kV cable connection

Connection via high-voltage underground cables where an overhead line is not possible or desirable.

Busbar connection

Direct connection to the 110 kV busbar of an existing substation – a challenging task.
