Partners & Networks

Successful development stems from collaboration with strong partners. That is why we focus on long-term relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, collaboration with universities and stakeholders in the energy sector, and partnerships in sport, culture and society.

This creates a network that extends far beyond individual projects. It brings together expertise and knowledge, generates new ideas and helps us to make a difference together – for a sustainable energy infrastructure, our company and the regions where we are based.

Working together to successfully carry out projects

Strong partners for strong projects

Our high level of in-house capability enables us to carry out key project phases ourselves and to take responsibility throughout the entire course of the project. At the same time, the implementation of complex energy infrastructure requires high-performing manufacturers, suppliers and specialist contractors. From transformers and switchgear, through substation buildings and technical components, to construction and specialist services, a wide range of products, services and areas of expertise are interlinked.

In this regard, we place great importance on long-term and reliable cooperation. Quality, adherence to deadlines, clear communication and binding agreements form the basis of our partnerships. Many of these relationships have developed over the years through numerous joint projects.

In this way, we combine our own in-depth expertise with the experience and expertise of strong partners, thereby laying the foundations for reliable and timely project delivery.

For the future

Sharing knowledge. Nurturing the next generation. Shaping the future.

The further development of the energy infrastructure requires both technological innovation and skilled workers. That is why we maintain close links with universities and educational institutions and actively contribute our practical experience to academic discourse.

We support students during work placements, coursework, and their degree and Master’s theses. In addition, our specialists and managers contribute their expertise to seminars, specialist events and other formats, providing insights into current projects, technologies and challenges facing the energy sector.

This exchange works both ways: new scientific findings, different perspectives and the ideas of the next generation of engineers also provide us with valuable inspiration.

At WT, we offer motivated and well-qualified graduates attractive opportunities to take on responsibility early on and to develop both professionally and personally. Young talents can quickly grow into positions of responsibility and leadership roles with us – and become key players in shaping the energy transition themselves.

This is how we combine science and practice, nurture young talent and work together to develop the specialists and leaders who will shape the energy infrastructure of tomorrow.

Connected within the energy sector

Through dialogue with our sector

The demands placed on the energy infrastructure are constantly evolving. The expansion of renewable energy, increasing grid connection capacities, new storage solutions and the further development of electricity grids are presenting the entire sector with new challenges.

That is why we seek direct dialogue with associations, project developers, energy suppliers, grid operators and other stakeholders in the energy sector. Through professional networks, industry events, conferences and other gatherings, we are present wherever current developments are discussed, experiences are shared and new contacts are made.

In doing so, we do not merely benefit from the knowledge of others. We also contribute our own experience of planning and constructing substations and grid connections to the discussion.

This is how new ideas, partnerships and solutions emerge that help both us and the energy sector to move forward together.

Partnerships that raise our profile

Working together in our regions

Sport, culture and events bring people together. That is why partnerships in these areas are an important part of our regional presence and corporate communications.

From locally based clubs and cultural organisations to high-profile sport and event formats, we focus on partnerships that are a good fit for WT Energiesysteme, our locations and our target audiences.

This is about more than just brand visibility. Joint initiatives and events create opportunities for people to come together and enable us to showcase WT Energiesysteme as a company and an employer. In this way, we reach potential skilled workers and up-and-coming talent, as well as employees, customers, partners and people from our local communities.

Through our partnerships, we combine a sense of regional connection with wider visibility and enhance the profile of WT Energiesysteme as a company and an attractive employer.

Giving something back together

Partnership also means social commitment

Our networks extend beyond business, academia and sport. We work with social services, charitable organisations, clubs, schools and regional initiatives that are committed to supporting the people in our regions.

In doing so, we aim not only to provide financial support, but also to work alongside committed individuals and organisations to create opportunities, strengthen the community and enable people to get involved.

This is how partnerships are forged that extend beyond our core business and make a tangible contribution to the regions in which we operate.

Shaping the future together

Whether it is in the development of complex energy infrastructure, in our engagement with the scientific community and the energy sector, or in our regional and community partnerships: for us, effective collaboration is built on trust, reliability and shared goals.

That is why we focus on relationships that grow over the long term, bring together different skills and create new opportunities. After all, sustainable success arises when people and businesses work together to make a difference.
