On November 13, 2025, we successfully commissioned another substation in Grawiede.
The project was technically challenging and subject to unique conditions. The start of construction was delayed due to archaeological surveys, and winter weather conditions also required a great deal of flexibility from the team. Despite these challenges, the substation was completed as early as April 2025.
Added to this was a change to the grid connection originally planned. Instead of a conventional low-voltage connection, the substation had to be connected to the overhead line network via a 110 kV cable.
Thanks to our high level of in-house execution and close collaboration with our subcontractors on the 110 kV cable, the cable connection was installed in September and the grid connection has now been finalized.
This result shows what is possible when expertise, perseverance, and precision come together.
We are very pleased to have successfully completed the project and to have thus reached another milestone in our work toward a modern energy infrastructure.
