Oldenbrok Wind Substation

110/33 kV single-circuit feeder - 6 medium-voltage bays

Snow-covered electrical substation with a power transformer, high-voltage switchgear and a steel lattice gantry connecting the substation to the power grid via an overhead high-voltage power line.

With its commissioning on February 26, 2026, the Oldenbrok Wind substation was successfully connected to the grid, creating another grid connection point in the 110 kV range.

The facility is designed as a single-circuit line and connects the 110 kV and 33 kV voltage levels.

The Siemens 8DA10 medium-voltage switchgear consists of six panels.

Our in-house installation team was responsible for the wiring, while the electrical installation was carried out by one of our partners.

The substation was built on a compact lot with limited construction space. Restricted access and the immediate proximity to the utility company’s right-of-way required precise coordination of the construction processes.

Instead of a conventional construction power supply plan, the substation was able to be powered via the customer’s own utility connection. This significantly reduced the need for a portable generator, contributing to a more efficient construction process that consumed less fuel.

We would like to thank everyone involved for their dedicated efforts and their spirit of partnership.
