After a construction period of five months, the facility was completed and put into operation.
Several adjustments were necessary during the course of the project. These included changes to permits, supply bottlenecks, and a last-minute redesign of the utility connection.
A unique situation arose due to the availability of a building. Since it could not be delivered as originally planned, it was assembled from individual parts directly on the construction site. This extended the construction schedule by four weeks.
The remaining components were then supplied as needed, allowing the substation to be completed within five months.
The utility connection was also modified during the course of the project. The work was carried out by our own team.
This project demonstrates what matters most when implementing substations: technical expertise, flexible coordination, and a team that works together to develop solutions even when adjustments are needed during the course of the project.
With its commissioning, the Krumpa substation is now part of the energy infrastructure and provides the technical foundation for grid connection.
