Elmenhorst Nord Substation

110/33 kV single-feeder substation with 50/63 MVA and five medium-voltage bays

On August 13, 2026, the Elmenhorst Nord wastewater treatment plant was successfully put into operation.

The 110/33 kV substation is designed as a single-feeder substation and has a capacity of 50/63 MVA. An NXPLUS C switchgear system with five bays was installed for the medium-voltage circuit.

During implementation, our WT team handled the utility connection. Flexible solutions were also required throughout the course of the project. Thanks to close coordination among all parties involved, the individual work steps were aligned, and the substation was commissioned on schedule.

The collaborative spirit among all parties involved deserves special mention. The acceptance inspection confirmed the project’s smooth execution: the electrical installation was completed without any defects noted in the acceptance report.

It is precisely moments like these that show what really matters in our projects: good teamwork, technical expertise, and a team that stays focused on the common goal even when changes arise during the course of the project.

Thank you to all my colleagues who successfully carried out the Elmenhorst Nord project!
