Following an intensive planning and construction phase, the new substation was successfully commissioned.
This project also presented several unique challenges. One of them was the complex drainage solution: Rainwater from the building had to be channeled through underground piping into an infiltration basin built next to the substation.
One unique aspect of the project was that the rain gutter had to cross the transformer transport route. To protect the cable in this area, the gutter was carefully encased in concrete. This task required close coordination and excellent collaboration between the design, civil engineering, and structural engineering teams.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this project through their dedication, expertise, and team spirit!
