Adenstedt Wind Substation

Adenstedt Wind Substation: The project was characterized by adaptation to a new site, unique ground conditions, and precise transformer installation. Learn more.

Installation work on the overhead power line connection of an electrical substation: A technician uses an aerial work platform to work on high-voltage power lines above a steel lattice gantry.

The project was originally intended to be carried out in the Moselle region, just a few kilometers from the Kreuzstein substation, which had already been completed. Thanks to targeted planning and forward-thinking execution, the project has now been successfully and efficiently completed at the new location.

Among the challenges were the loading and unloading of components from the warehouse in Warburg, the technical redesign required due to the change in grid operator, and the precise positioning of the transformer on its foundation using a self-propelled vehicle. In addition, the ground had to be stabilized with concrete rings due to its limited load-bearing capacity.

We are proud to have successfully completed this technically challenging project and look forward to implementing additional complex energy infrastructure projects in 2026 as well.
