WT Energiesysteme supports Francesco Friedrich

Francesco had most recently been training in Innsbruck, where he was preparing for the IBSF Bobsleigh World Cup on 29 and 30 November 2025 at the Olympia Eiskanal Innsbruck Igls.

On Sunday, he once again demonstrated his exceptional strength. The record-breaking World Championship champion raced to the top of the field in the four-man event at the second World Cup stop in Innsbruck-Igls, confirming once again his outstanding form.

Francesco can look back on an extraordinary career. He is a multiple overall World Cup winner, has won sixteen world championship titles and is the first pilot ever to achieve two Olympic double victories. In 2018 and 2022, he won gold in both the two-man and four-man bobsleigh events, thereby making sporting history.

With every run, he moves closer to his dream of achieving this special double gold for a third time.

We use sports sponsorship with top athletes such as Francesco Friedrich to increase our reach and brand awareness, and to align the positive attributes of elite sport with our corporate values. Furthermore, supporting regional sport is a cause very close to WT’s heart.

We wish Francesco continued success in his training and the best of luck for his upcoming competitions.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for him and are delighted to be standing by his side.
