Success Begins with Appreciation

Learn how WT makes recognition and appreciation visible within the company.

WT Energiesysteme was named “Most Responsible Employer 2026” and ranks 33rd among the most responsible companies in the energy category. The award is presented by the ZEIT Publishing Group and kununu and recognizes companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to social responsibility.

The evaluation took into account, among other factors, environmental and social responsibility, work-life balance, gender equality, and employee reviews on kununu. It was based on more than 300,000 employer profiles and over five million reviews from employees in Germany.

For WT Energiesysteme, this award is above all a tribute to the people who help shape the company. After all, a responsible corporate culture is not created solely by codified values, but through day-to-day interactions.

Trust, appreciation, and respect form an important foundation in this regard. Employee feedback on kununu shows that these values are recognized and put into practice in day-to-day work.

“Putting our values into practice creates a positive work environment where employees enjoy contributing their knowledge and dedication,” says HR Manager Petra Koehl.

Open communication plays a central role in this process. Face-to-face conversations, active questioning, and close collaboration with specialized departments and senior management create opportunities to gather feedback and use it to develop concrete improvements.

“We don’t view feedback as criticism, but rather as an opportunity for growth,” explains HR Manager Kristina Bürger.

It is precisely this philosophy that shapes the way we interact with one another at WT Energiesysteme. We want to recognize initiative, listen to ideas, and take suggestions seriously. This creates a work environment in which employees not only fulfill their duties but can also actively help shape the company’s future.

Being named the “Most Responsible Employer 2026” is therefore more than just external recognition. It demonstrates that the employees’ perspective is an important part of our corporate culture. At the same time, it serves as an incentive to continue listening, learning, and working together to further develop WT Energiesysteme.

After all, sustainable success begins with the people who work together to shape a company.
