Company Day 2026 in Riesa

A day full of reflections and outlooks: The company event in Riesa focused on growth, new projects, internal developments, and teamwork.

On 24 April 2026, the whole team gathered at the WT Energiesysteme Arena in Riesa to review the past financial year and jointly shape the next steps in our development.

The focus was on our staff. They drive projects forward, take on responsibility and help shape the development of WT Energiesysteme on a daily basis.

The past year was marked by key milestones. With the ground-breaking ceremony for our new site in Pirna, we have sent a clear signal of further growth. At the same time, another site in Rostock is being expanded. Two new projects in the 380 kV range mark our entry into the extra-high voltage sector and open up new prospects for the further development of our range of services.

At the project level, too, numerous substations have been successfully commissioned. This development is complemented by awards and accolades that affirm our work and our standards.

At the same time, WT Energiesysteme has also made significant internal progress. New, highly qualified colleagues have joined our team, and as the group grows, so too does the volume of information, processes and coordination required in our day-to-day work.

In this context, the marketing team presented the new intranet, which will be launched shortly and will serve as a central platform for information, documents and processes. This will create a single point of access for all staff and strengthen collaboration across sites and departments.

Our corporate design has also been specifically refined and enhanced as the WT Group has grown. With the integration of WT Energiespeicher GmbH and EAS Energiesystemtechnik, this creates a consistent brand identity that unites the entire group and positions it clearly.

The company day also provided important insights. Guest speaker Jutta Kleinschmidt shared insights from her personal career and demonstrated what it means to consistently pursue one’s own goals. Her approach – understanding success as the ability to want more than others – can be applied to many aspects of our daily work.

Mr Markus John from HIGHVOLT Prüftechnik Dresden GmbH also provided a technical perspective on high-voltage testing technology and its contribution to a successful energy transition.

Alongside the substantive topics, the focus was also on personal interaction. Conversations and encounters strengthen our sense of community and form an important foundation for our day-to-day collaboration.

The day demonstrated once again what sets WT Energiesysteme apart: a team that takes responsibility, works together in a structured manner and actively helps shape the energy transition.
