A Clear Stance Against Violence in Soccer
As a partner of Dynamo Dresden, WT Energiesysteme takes a clear stand: Violence and hatred have no place in soccer. Respect remains paramount.

We have been deeply shocked by the events surrounding SG Dynamo Dresden e.V.’s home match against Hertha BSC GmbH & Co. KGaA.
As the exclusive partner of SG Dynamo Dresden, we – like the club – stand for values such as solidarity, passion, responsibility and a family-like spirit. The images of violence, hatred, vandalism and massive breaches of boundaries by both sets of supporters fundamentally contradict these values and are in no way acceptable to us. Such riots endanger people, damage the club’s reputation and harm the sport of football as a whole. There can be no excuse for this.
For us, sponsorship means more than just supporting a club. It also means taking responsibility for the region, for the people and for the values we share. That is why we distance ourselves clearly and unequivocally from these incidents.
At the same time, it is important for us to emphasise that these events do not reflect the broad fan base of SG Dynamo Dresden. The overwhelming majority of fans stand for passion, fairness and solidarity. This is exactly what Dynamoland stands for too.
We remain firmly behind SG Dynamo Dresden, the city of Dresden and the many people who support this club with heart and soul and are committed to respectful coexistence.
Dietmar Tietz, Managing Director of WT Energiesysteme, says:
“As a company, we identify one hundred per cent with the region, Dynamo Dresden and the people of Dynamoland. This makes our condemnation of the disturbances surrounding the match all the more resolute. Violence, hatred and the deliberate overstepping of boundaries are incompatible with our values. What matters now is to take a clear stand and stand together for respect and solidarity.”
Stephan Zimmermann, Managing Director of SG Dynamo Dresden:
“We want to create an atmospheric and, above all, peaceful atmosphere at our home matches. Images such as those from last weekend have absolutely no place in this. Over the past few days, we have already held numerous discussions with representatives from the football associations, the police, politicians and the fan community to gain a comprehensive picture of the evening’s events. The next step is now to develop the necessary measures so that we can once again guarantee and demonstrate to the outside world what Dynamo Dresden stands for: passion, emotion and, above all, respect.”
We welcome SG Dynamo Dresden’s clear stance and call for a thorough investigation into the events.
For us, one thing remains clear: we stand for strong and respectful coexistence both on and off the pitch.
