The Energy Transition Needs Structure
How standardized processes give rise to high-performance system solutions, and why digital planning has played a central role at WT for years.

Talking about the energy transition is important. Implementing it is crucial.
At WT Energiesysteme, this has been our practice for many years. We build substations up to 380 kV as central grid connections, primarily for wind and solar farms. Rather than isolated individual projects, we focus on scalable system solutions.
A key factor in this is consistent standardisation. Early on, we made a conscious decision to move away from improvised, one-off solutions and instead rely on modular, digital and clearly structured processes. This decision continues to shape our work to this day.
As early as 2017, we began digitising our planning and bringing together construction planning as well as primary and secondary technology on a single platform. With primtech 3d, we have established a tool that has become an indispensable part of our day-to-day work. Its modular logic, automated bills of materials and data-driven workflows enable speed, quality and transparency.
We greatly value our partnership with primtech. Not because it’s about software, but because it’s about a shared approach. Implementing complex energy infrastructure in a reliable, scalable and future-proof manner.
Thank you to the primtech team. 🤝
We look forward to the next steps we’ll take together.
