Nomination for the “Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses

WT Energiesysteme GmbH – on the nomination list of the Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses

The Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses is considered the most coveted business award in Germany. The nomination alone is already an award.

Being nominated for this competition is considered a ticket to the “network of the best”. It is not possible to apply for this award oneself. The Grand Prix of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises is the only business award in Germany that looks not only at figures, innovations or jobs, but also at the company as a whole and in its complex role in society. Five competition criteria are assessed:

– Overall development of the company

– Creation/securing of jobs and training places

– Modernisation and innovation

– Commitment to the region

– Service and customer proximity, marketing

Since 1994, this prize has been awarded by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. In 2008 and 2016, the foundation was honoured with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, and in 2015 it received the Company Change Award. The importance of the competition for SMEs speaks for itself:

“SMEs are and remain a guarantor of stability and trust in Germany. I warmly congratulate the nominees and the award winners at the (…) Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses. (…) You have earned it.”
