LV creation and editing / Excel conversion – working with the GAEB converter

On 13.05.2020 a second training on the subject of GAEB converters took place. Our employees were trained as follows:

Introduction to GAEB data exchange

On 12.05.2020 the online seminar of T&T Datentechnik took place for some employees of our company. Content of the training was as follows:

On 09.01.2020, further training on the subject of customs took place at Emons in Dresden. The seminar’s contents included

Switching authorization 30 and 110 kV – Basic course & refresher

For 8 of our employees the further training for switching authorization 30 and 110 kV took place on 03.02. to 04.02.2020. The participants were successfully trained with the following goal and contents:

– They are prepared for switching authorisation in accordance with DGUV regulation 1 (former BGV A1), § 4 of VDE 0105 and DGUV regulation 3 (former BGV A3).

SPRECHER Automation – IT Security Standards & Norms and IT Security Basis

 

From 14 – 16 October 2019 Mr. J. Schröter participated in the training of Sprecher Automation in Vienna. The participant got an overview of the technologies and solutions in the IT security area. IT security topics of the energy automation process were treated in particular.

On 07.01.2019 and 11.01.2019, the employees of WT Energiesysteme GmbH were trained as fire protection workers in Riesa and on January 15, 2019 in Dresden.

Construction Site SiGe Coordinator – Specialized Coordinator Skills

The Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance (BaustellV) requires builders to appoint one or more suitable SiGe coordinators for construction sites employing employees of several employers, depending on the type and scope of the construction project. Because the SiGe coordinator contributes to making the construction project, the construction process and the subsequent work on the construction system safe at all times. His activities require professional qualifications, which are specified in the rules on occupational safety at construction sites (RAB 30). In the course the special coordinator skills were taught. The seminar meets the quality criteria for course participants according to RAB 30, Annex D.

Primtech 18 Basic Training, AutoCAD Basic Training and primtech Workshop

In November 2018, three of our employees took part in the basic training “primtech and AutoCAD”. The aim of the AutoCAD course is to get to know the new possibilities of the current version, especially to learn to use new functions for civil engineering (primary planning). It serves as the basis for the efficient use of the primtech solution.

Content AutoCAD Basic Training: Introduction to AutoCAD user interface, navigating in 2D, generate geometries, change orders, dimensioning, marking, basics of drawing output with predefined plotters, Creating and editing blocks, coordinate input, basics of drawing output with predefined plotters

The primtech training is used to calculate the effect of short-circuit currents (according to IEC 60865-1: 2011). This can be used to calculate the forces resulting from the specified short-circuit current. Since this is a safety-relevant calculation, the use of a suitable tool is essential. In addition, the base training service getting to know the relationship between short-circuit cable forces which case cable forces and bundle Seilzukräfte and the resultant forces and bending stress for pipes. It is a training to optimize the sag of ropes and the transfer of the cable deflection.

In January 2019 the seminar primtech workshop was held. This Training is for use of the integrated calculation function to calculate the effect of short-circuit currents with primtech 3D IEC 60865-1: 2011 standard. Our employees learned the relationship between short-circuit tensile forces, the case tensile forces, and bundle tensile forces, as well as the resulting forces and bending stress for pipes.

Switching authorisation 30 and 110 kV – foundation course and refresher course

TÜV Rheinland Akademie GmbH trained our employees on 4 and 5th September 2018 in relation to switching authorisaton for 30 and 110 kV.

Foundation course – Switching authorisation for 30 and 110 kV
By means of the instruction offered here, all practically relevant courses of action and requirements that are to be placed upon authorised persons in networks up to 30 kV and 110 kV must be learned. At the same time, information on equipment and its tasks in the network must be provided so that, in conjunction with the knowledge of relevant standards, the work assigned to him can be fulfilled and potential dangers avoided.

Refresher course – Switching authorisation for 30 and 110 kV
As defined by DIN VDE 0105 and UVV DGUV (Accident prevention regulations of the German Statutory Accident Insurance Association) regulation 3 (formerly BGV A3), special instruction is required for working and operating in high-voltage installations.

Intensive course – language training programme in St. Julians Malta

Mr Uwe Schubert participated in an intensive English course at the language school in St. Julians Malta from 26 March 2018 until 13 April 2018. The goal of the course was to achieve an improvement in his English comprehension. Mr Schubert only had a slight prior knowledge of the English language. Our employee received intensive training leading to the award of a certificate by means of this measure. Following the completion of this course, Mr Schubert can now also be employed at international construction sites, for instance in Sweden, on behalf of WT Energiesysteme GmbH.

Gimp Basic Course

In the course, which took place on 25./26.05.2020, after explaining the user interface as well as the basic terms of image processing, the image corrections and retouching work was practiced on practical examples. In further projects we worked with selection tools, masks and layers as well as with the paint, fill and color tools.

Intensive English Course – General English and Private GE

Mrs Heinrich took part in an intensive English course at the language school in St. Paul’s Malta from 10.02.-21.02.2020. The aim was to achieve an improvement of the communication in the English language. As a result of this measure, our employee received intensive training with a certificate. The focus was on fluency, pronunciation, listening comprehension, in order to be confident in using the English language in all areas. Debates and discussions are also held to promote fluency in spoken and written English.

From 21. to 25.10.2019 our employee, Mr. O. Kresnivakov, participated in the primtech basic seminar. The 5-day basic training of the primtech software serves as preparation for the future planning of AIS switchgear with primtech.

On the 8th of August 2019, two employees of WT Energiesysteme GmbH were trained in Kassel with the certificate: „Assembly and commissioning of switchgear Type GL311 F1“.

Protection against unauthorized fields from power supply systems

On 14.05.2019 the training course “Protection against unauthorized fields of power supply systems” was carried out by BDEW.

Programme focus:

  • Protection of the population by implementation of the 26. BImSchV
  • Overlay of high-frequency fields with low-frequency fields
  • Notes from the federal states on the implementation of the 26. BImSchV

Background / objective:

The implementation of the 26. BImSchV with its specifications on electric and magnetic fields confronts grid operators with major legal and technical challenges in the expansion, maintenance and operation of electricity grids. In particular, the minimisation of electric and magnetic fields to be implemented can cause significant expenditure.

Training “Employee leadership on the background of the newly established employee appraisals”.

From 04.03.2019 – 30.04.2019 a professional training for some of our employees is taking place.

Most of the newly appointed department managers have a high level of technical expertise in their field, but little or no experience in disciplinary management of staff. Some colleagues have now become superiors, which results in a change in cooperation. In addition, the general process of personnel management and the documents to be used for it are new. This results in the need for further development and training in the following areas:

  • A new approach to employee appraisals: dialogue management, feedback landscape, 360°, performance achievement, performance dialogue and peer review
  • Establish employee appraisals as a new management tool: Praise and criticism, guidance or information must “come across” correctly
  • The strategic orientation and aims of the company influence the selection of the type of conversation
  • Expectation Check – Actual-Target Status Analysis – Identify Optimization Potentials
  • The key point of success: Managers are encouraged and should be supported

The central objective of the training activities is the further development of managers in the following areas:

ESA Skilled

On 22.02.2019 a professional 1-day-training for some of our employees took place at our location in Riesa. The content was as follows:

  • Electrical Safety Board regulations for professional activities where there is a risk of electricity hazards to executive personnel, ELSÄK-2006: 1
  • ESA Basic and ESA Work
  • Managing risks
  • Selection of working methods and requirements for different approaches

Upon completion of the training, the participants will understand ESA plans, working methods and procedures to avoid accidents and breakdowns.

ESA specialists are part of ESVG 14, the collective safety regulation of the electrical industry to prevent damage caused by electricity. Part of the regulation contains the requirements for training. Among other things, ESA 14 regulates the cooperation between network operators/energy suppliers and contractors and contributes to a common standard facilitating the work on various electrical installations.

ESA Skilled gives instructions on how to organize the work and the requirements to be met by the owner of the electrical installations, depending on the energy sector. It also regulates the contractor’s work so that it can be carried out safely in the premises / work area or in electrical installations.

ESVG 14 has been adapted to the changes in the third edition of SS-EN 50110-1, Maintenance of electrical installations. ESA 14 is available in two publications: ESA Basic and ESA Work. ESA 14 Skilled is a complete ESA safety training for the energy industry developed by Energiföretagen Sverige.

Training on turnover tax law for the export and import of goods and services

Training on turnover tax law for the export and import of goods and services took place at the Haufe Akademie GmbH & Co. KG in Berlin from 25 October until 26 October. The contents of this training course included the following elements:

Breakdown: Delivery, service, work delivery, work performance, intra-community deliveries, export deliveries, accounting records and proof of receipt, confirmation of arrival, VAT ID number, ATLAS procedures for exports, imports to third countries and to EU countries, chain and three-way deals, factory deliveries and other deliveries that are subject to turnover tax abroad, reverse charge procedures, missing trader frauds, registration in other EU and non-EU Member States, billing peculiarities, current legal developments, taxation of services in the EU and worldwide, services to foreign customers, services provided by foreign suppliers, current legal development s in the fields of services law, processing of foreign matters, Service Commission – SUB.

F2 – Expertise for Lightning Protection and Earthing Systems (DIN 18014,DIN VDE 0185-305-3)

The company Berufliche Weiterbildung Elektrotechnik (Further Vocational Training in Electrical Engineering) – Andreas Aust in Dresden trains three employees of WT Energiesysteme GmbH at the end of July 2018 concerning lightning protection and earthing systems. Our employees are provided with a basic overview of the application and implementation of the German lightning protection standard. They get to know the requirements of DIN VDE 0185-305 and will learn on the basis of practical measurements how the standard is applied correctly.

Goals and results: The installation, management and maintenance of lightning protection systems requires specific expertise. Electronic and electrical systems are endangered or even destroyed by direct lightning strikes. The lightning protection standard published in 2014 is a translation of the European standard IEC EN 62305 into German law and sets a national framework for effective lightning protection systems. To protect systems against lightning strikes, it is necessary to minimise the dangers in accordance with the standard by means of suitable protective devices.
